Who we are
Heritage Journey Studio is run by I montanari Térségi Fejlesztő Kft. (I montanari Kft.), registered seat: 3124 Zabar, Petőfi út 94., Hungary, tax number: 32334568-2-12. The company is the data controller for the personal data described here.
Questions or requests about your data: [email protected].
This notice covers this website (www.heritagejourney.studio) and its contact form. If you become a client, we will tell you separately how we look after the life stories, family documents and recordings you share with us.
When you write to us
What we collect: the name, email address, phone number (optional) and message you enter in the contact form, and how you found us. That means the campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source or utm_campaign), the website that sent you, and the first page you opened here. If you accepted measurement (see below), it also includes the ad-click identifier added by Google or Meta (gclid, gbraid, wbraid or fbclid).
Why: to answer your enquiry and talk with you about our services, and to understand which channels and advertisements bring people to us.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interest in knowing which of our channels work (Art. 6(1)(f)).
How long: we keep enquiries for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, or you ask us to delete them sooner.
Who processes it for us:
- Minerva (mnrv.ai) runs this website and receives the form. Enquiries are stored on Google Cloud servers in the European Union.
- Cloudflare hosts the website. Its Turnstile check confirms that the form was sent by a person, not a bot.
- The enquiry is emailed to our mailbox, which is hosted by Google.
Measurement and advertising — only with your consent
When you first visit, we ask whether we may use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) and the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). Neither loads unless you click Accept.
If you accept, they record:
- the pages you view;
- the fact that a contact form was sent (never what you wrote);
- your browser, device and approximate location;
- the ad that brought you here.
They set cookies for this purpose: _ga and _ga_* (Google, up to 2 years) and _fbp (Meta, 90 days).
We use this to count visits, to measure and improve our advertising, and to show our ads to people who have visited this website (retargeting) on Google, YouTube and Google's partner sites, and on Facebook and Instagram. We do not send your name, email address or phone number to Google or Meta.
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
Changing your mind: you can withdraw your consent at any time with the Your privacy choices link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing does not affect what happened before.
Google and Meta may process this data in the United States, under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Each acts under its own privacy policy for the data it receives:
Running the website
To deliver pages and keep the site secure, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, whose servers therefore also receive your IP address when a page loads.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
What we store in your browser
minerva-consent: your answer to the consent question, so we don't ask again.minerva-attribution: how you arrived on this visit, so it can be attached to an enquiry you send. It is cleared when you close the tab.
Your rights
You can ask us:
- for a copy of your data;
- to correct or delete it;
- to restrict or object to its use;
- to receive it in a portable format.
You can also withdraw any consent you gave. Write to [email protected].
You may also complain to a data protection authority. In Hungary that is the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9–11, www.naih.hu. You can also go to the authority where you live.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
